What’s a Brand Strategy?

 

Your Brand Strategy is your game plan for you to build and maintain your brand. Your brand is so much more than your logo – it’s the uniquely ‘you’ quality that your customers experience when all the different elements of your business come together.

The foundation of this strategy is your purpose and visionwhat you’re doing and why you’re doing it.

In our facilitated discovery sessions, we will define and clarify your core purpose, vision, and values as individuals and as a brand. We will also establish who your customers are, and how to position your brand so they can find you.

So, what happens in these sessions?

There are three key sessions that make up our Brand Strategy offer, each run for about 2.5 to 3 hours. At the end of all three sessions, you will have a comprehensive document that details everything that we discover together. This is the write-up of your Brand Strategy, and will inform everything else you do from here on out.

What do I actually get at the end of these sessions?

Are these sessions online or in person?

These sessions can be done online and in-person. If you want to have the workshop in person, we recommend setting aside an entire work day (8 hours inc. breaks), and an additional ‘completion’ meeting which can be done either in person or online.

Depending on your business and the number of stakeholders required in the sessions, we sometimes recommend an in-person workshops over online.

What happens between sessions?

We do our homework, and you do yours!

One of the benefits of doing the sessions in chunks is it gives both parties time to digest what we’ve discovered in the session. We also sometimes recommend that you and your term do certain activities between sessions, to clarify something that emerges from the sessions.

Does everyone in my team have to attend?

It depends on the size of your team and the roles within the team. As a general rule, we don’t need more that 3 representatives from your team to be present in the sessions.Ā 

Who facilitates the sessions?

Brand Strategy sessions are facilitated by our senior team members, Raphy Mendoza and Phillipa James.Ā 

What happens next after we complete?

We dedicate part of the third session to looking at what’s next for you and your business. Typically, we would look at creating a new identity system, or refreshing your current one to keep it aligned with the purpose, vision and values that emerges from the session.Ā 

Following which we can look at further creative assets. Which ones would depend on your business goals.Ā

Is there anything I need to do to prepare for the sessions?

Depending on where you are in your journey, we may give you some preparatory work prior to the brand strategy sessions. We will determine this during your initial hello call, so don’t worry about anything until then!.Ā 

What's the investment?

It depends. We know, šŸ™„ā€¦ but it really does depend on many factors such as the size of your business, the price point of the product you offer, the project revenue increase as a result of our work with you, the projectā€™s timelineā€¦Ā 

We have 3 different pricing structures:

  • Fixed Fee ProjectsĀ ā€“ Perfect for deliverables that youā€™ll only need once like your brand strategy or identity system.Ā 
  • Loyalty ClubĀ ā€“ Our retainer model in which you can pay a monthly subscription of ā€˜creditsā€™, that can be rolled over to the next month (up to 6 months). This allows you to spread the cost of long-term projects such as content creation, and website maintenance without having to over-pay for quiet months.Ā 
  • VIP DaysĀ ā€“ These are designed to give you our 100% focused attention over short period of time. This is perfect for projects that have a very tight turn around such as a product or event launch.Ā
