How do fixed fee projects work?

In essence…

You pay separately for each deliverable. How much this is largely depends on the scope of the project, the size of your business and the value of the service to you

1. Book a FREE call.

Have a chat with us so we can align on exactly which services you need, and what return you’re expecting from your investment.

During the call, we’ll be able to give you a ball park figure for each deliverable. If this matches your budget, we will then write you a proposal with a more detailed quote and a timeframe for each milestone and the overall project.

If our quote doesn’t work for your budget, we may offer introductions to people in our network who may be able to help you.

2. Proposal and Timeframe

Your proposal will detail the entire project scope, itemising the investment for each delivery. We will also map out the completion timeframe for the entire project together, and identify milestones and review points throughout the project.

3. Green Light and Deposit

Once we’re aligned with the proposal, we will send you a Service Level Agreement to sign. We will also take a 50% deposit for the total project cost. This allows us to block out our calendar and dedicate the required time and resources to your project.

4. Review Points

Your proposal will map out a timeframe for milestones, which are natural points in time when it helps to meet and review how the project is going. We put these in the calendar in advance so we always know when the next touch point is.

You can always email us to schedule an additional call where required, and we will reach out to you if we need any input. Depending on the scope and nature of the project, we will also keep you regularly updated by email.

4. Sign-Off and Balance

Upon completion of the project, we will have a final call to review everything and work together to smooth out any snags. Once you sign off the completion of the project, we will collect the final balance.

Which of your services are priced as fixed fee projects?

You can use any pricing structure that works for you on any of our service. However, certain projects tend to be ‘one-off’ activities, and you would get the best value on fixed-fee pricing. 👇🏽

Ok. I just have a few more questions…

Ask away!

We have put together some FAQs below, but if we haven’t answered your questions feel free to shoot as an email.

What are the advantages of fixed fee pricing over the other types?

The main advantage is that you’ll know exactly what’s coming out of your budget for all specified deliverables – no more and no less. It also forces you to really consider some key questions:

  • How much can I expect my revenue to increase by, as a result of this work we’re doing, over the next 5 years?
  • What’s the value of this work to my business – financial and otherwise?

This should give you a good sense of how much you need to be budgeting for, depending on where you are in your business journey and your current short, medium and long-term goals.

I'm not sure which services I really need.

That’s understandable! Book a call with us – we’ll be happy to chat and help you figure out your next steps (with or without us!)

I think I need ongoing work, but I also know I need some one-off projects. Can I do I mix of pricing plans?

Yes! We can look with you at your current circumstance and budget, and we can create a bespoke pricing plan for you. It may be that we price one-off projects on fixed fee and move on to a Loyalty Club retainer, or we can agree a long-term commitment that covers all activities.
